Breakfast with Santa and ‘Snow’ at Flower Hill Dec. 12-13

Sometimes our warm weather makes it hard to get into the holiday mood, but this weekend, Dec. 12-13, a visit from Santa Claus, free photos with Santa, and some “snow” should help everyone catch the holiday spirit at Flower Hill Promenade in Del Mar.
Bring the whole family and enjoy “Breakfast with Santa” at Paradise Grille on Saturday or Sunday morning between 10 a.m.-noon each day. Santa will walk throughout the restaurant greeting the children during breakfast and distributing Gift Certificates for each child to redeem at Geppetto’s Toy Store after Breakfast. Candid photos will also be shot throughout breakfast by our professional photographers from Keane Studios.
Paradise Grille has even created a special “Santa” breakfast for the children (12 and under) to enjoy. Reservations are suggested for this fun event; you can call Paradise Grille at (858) 350-0808 to reserve a place for your family.
After the breakfast, children will have the unique opportunity to “make snow” outside Geppetto’s Toys at Flower Hill on their way to visit with Santa. Santa will be seated at the west end of the mall, next to the Giant Christmas Tree near Geppetto’s toy store.
Every child will have the opportunity to visit with Santa each afternoon this weekend, and to have their photo taken with him. These FREE photos will be taken courtesy of the professionals from Keane Studios in Carmel Valley. You may have your children photographed with Santa on Saturday from noon to 4pm, or on Sunday from noon to 2pm. Santa will also be giving each child a small “goodie bag” with items from the Flower Hill Merchants.
It would not feel like Christmas without some favorite holiday songs, so, if you love to sing, you are invited to try something new — ”Christmas Karaoke” – our version of caroling. Join TV weatherman, Terry Burhans, as he leads a group of singers throughout the mall on both Saturday and Sunday. Join the fun and sing along — meet at Spa Gregories at 2 p.m. on Saturday, or at 4 p.m. on Sunday, and return to Spa Gregories to enjoy some delicious holiday snacks and beverages there.
If you prefer to watch, instead of singing yourself, you will enjoy the performance of “Singing Solo” on Sunday at 1 p.m. These wonderful young girls from age 6 to 17, will treat you to some holiday classics and surely put you in the mood to celebrate the holidays!
